We are seeking a Manila-based professional to lead group-wide statutory and regulatory compliance. The **Compliance Manager** will be responsible for group-wide compliance, governance, and risk management, including leading in meeting industry standards such as ACNC, ACFID, and DFAT accreditation. This role focuses on compliance, systems, policies, partner standards, training, and audit readiness, working closely with the Finance Manager on areas of overlap (eg. financial controls).

**Your role:**

1. ***Organisational strengthening***

- Lead in the implementation of the Organisational Strengthening plan to level-up compliance in all areas across the DA Group. Report to the Director of Impact on the progress of the Organisational Strengthening plan.

2.) ***Governance, statutory and regulatory adherence***

- Ensure full adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements across all entities and partners, specifically within:

Australia: ACNC, ASIC, ACFID, IP Australia, and State/Territory licensing.

Singapore: ACRA, COC (Commissioner of Charities), IPOS, etc.

Philippines: SEC, IPOPHL, LGU BPLO, and PCNC.

Cambodia: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, and local statutory bodies.

3.) ***Compliance frameworks & systems***

- Establish and maintain group-wide compliance frameworks covering: Governance and risk, Safeguarding and PSEAH, Fraud, corruption, and complaints handling, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)

4.) ***Policies, procedures & agreements***

- Review, update, and develop policies and procedures aligned to compliance frameworks and donor requirements.
- Update partner agreements, MOUs, and delegations to reflect compliance requirements.

5.) ***Partner & entity compliance oversight***

- Conduct compliance gap assessments for all Dana Asia entities and partners.

6.) ***Training & capability building***

- Identify mandatory compliance training requirements by role (Board, staff, partners).

7.) ***Audit & assurance***

- Coordinate external and internal compliance audits and readiness reviews.
- Prepare compliance evidence packs for donors and regulatory bodies.

### **What We’re Looking For**

- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Governance, Risk, Development Studies, or related field.
- **Experience:** Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, governance, risk, or donor-funded environments, ideally within the NGO or multinational sector.
- **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of international donor compliance frameworks (DFAT experience highly regarded) & experience developing and implementing policies and compliance systems.
- **Attributes:** Strong organisational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously across multiple entities and partners.

**Other information**

- **Employment Type**: Full-time Independent Contractor
- **Compensation**: Salary of 45,000 PHP per month, based on experience, with benefits to be discussed.
- **Location**: This role will be based in Manila, Philippines. **Only open to candidates with the legal right to work in the Philippines.**
