Methodica Consulting is a consulting firm specialised in measuring social change in complex settings. We build tailored M&E and research methodologies to support public and private entities in delivering social change in remote locations, fragile states, and developing countries.

**What we're looking for**

Methodica Consulting is currently looking for local experts in livestock assistance, veterinary support and animal health in selected countries. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

- 10+ years of experience in veterinary/livestock support **in one of the following countries**: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Togo. This can include treatment and vaccination campaigns, capacity building, replacement of livestock assets, provision of livestock feed, provision of water, livestock off-take, livestock shelter.
- Experience in livestock-related evaluations is a strong asset;
- Ability to deploy for data collection activities is an asset for consultants in Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria;
- Full proficiency in English **or** French; Fula is a strong asset for local experts in Chad, Cameroon, Mali and Nigeria; Arabic is an asset in Chad, Mali and Niger.

The expert will join the evaluation team on selected evaluation mandates, supporting on the development of project design and the validation of preliminary findings. He/she could also conduct in-country data collection activities, e.g., site visits.

While the Level of Effort (LoE) may vary depending on the specific project, experts are likely not involved in the day-to-day management of the project but rather provide input at specific moments, which can be scheduled in advance.
